The OM181 long wheelbase track vehicle is designed to meet the most demanding requirements in railway infrastructure construction, maintenance, and management. Thanks to an extended wheelbase of 6 meters compared to the traditional 4.5 meters, this machine provides additional space to accommodate larger and more efficient equipment, such as high-capacity cranes, aerial work platforms (AWP), loading beds, and wire-tensioning equipment.
Material Transport: Spacious bed for heavy loads.
Crane and Lifting Operations: Capable of accommodating large cranes for high operational loads and significant outreach.
AWP and Wire Tensioning: Ideal for electrical traction and railway signaling tasks.
Shunting Locomotive: Equipped with engines up to 375 kW, ensuring high performance in towing wagons and other railway vehicles.
The redesigned chassis allows the installation of more powerful diesel engines (up to 375 kW), ensuring exceptional traction capability. The hydrostatic transmission with Dynamic Torque Control (DTC) provides optimal torque distribution, ensuring smooth and consistent acceleration at all speeds.
The spacious cabin, capable of accommodating up to 5 people, is enhanced with acoustic insulation, reducing internal noise to just 72 dB. A newly designed air conditioning system ensures a comfortable environment year-round.
The high ground clearance and dedicated lifting points make the OM181 long wheelbase vehicle extremely easy to handle and transport, even by road, eliminating the need for special transportation permits. Maintenance has become even simpler thanks to improved accessibility to all components.
The OM181 offers highly customizable solutions suitable for every operational requirement. Additionally, thanks to the Master-Slave function, multiple machines can be interconnected for coordinated operations, further enhancing towing and operational capacity.
Compliant with EN 14033 standards and EN 15085 welding certifications.
Already meets European interoperability standards, with the possibility of adaptation to specific international requirements.
The OM181 track vehicle represents the optimal standard today for demanding railway infrastructure tasks, delivering versatility, high performance, and reliability in every operational context.
